FedEx Junior Business Challenge Goes to Northern Florida

Season 2 of the FedEx Junior Business Challenge—an initiative in conjunction with the PGA TOUR and part of the FedEx Cares global giving initiative—is well underway. Today, five student teams from JA of Northern Florida (USA) convened at THE PLAYERS Championship to pitch their business ideas in front of a star-studded panel of judges that included PGA TOUR champion Billy Horschel, Daytona 500 winner Denny Hamlin, Olympic Gold Medalist Shannon Miller, and In Blue Handmade founder and owner Mary Lynn Schroeder. The PGA TOUR even featured the event on its website! 

Team Wolfpack's Tropical Wave, with a business idea for a "fun fruit food truck," won the event and will move on to the FedEx Junior Business Challenge finals at the TOUR Championship in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, for a chance to receive a $75,000 donation to their local JA area from FedEx. Next up for the FedEx Junior Business Challenge is the RBC Canadian Open on July 25.
