JA Staff Reunite, Recharge, and Reimagine with GLC 2021

November 5, 2021

It’s been an exciting week for the JA global network as we kicked off our first-ever virtual Global Leadership Conference (GLC). In years past, GLC spanned four days and was offered specifically for JA executives in regional, national, and local offices. But in 2021, our virtual GLC spans three weeks and is open and free to every one of our 3,000+ JA staff members around the world.

Each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from November 2–18, GLC debuts a series of live masterclasses and main stage keynotes on a virtual platform for staff. The 2019 conference celebrated the JA centennial; this year, we’re acknowledging the staggering difficulties everyone has faced during the pandemic, coming together under the theme Reunite, Recharge, and Reimagine. We’re also spotlighting our six JA regions—Junior Achievement USA, INJAZ Al-Arab JA MENA, JA Asia Pacific, JA Americas, JA Europe, and JA Africa—devoting one day of the conference to each. Additionally, thanks to the virtual platform, we’re able to offer special sessions for board members and JA alumni, another first for GLC.

JA Worldwide is proud and excited to provide the Global Leadership Conference to our staff, who work tirelessly in over 100 countries to bring JA programs to more than 10 million young people.
